Michael Clancy (c. 1949 – 2010) was Chief Secretary from 1997 to 2000, and later Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Saint Helena and its Dependencies (Ascension Island and Tristan da Cunha) from 2004 to 2007.[1][2]
He was married to Claire Clancy who, as of 2009, is the Chief Executive of the National Assembly of Wales.[3][4]
Michael Clancy died from cancer at the age of 60; his death was announced on February 25, 2010.[5][6]
